In this new work thousands of clay Polaroids were placed on the gallery walls. The use of clay, a temporary unfired material acts a contradiction to the intention of the icon Twomey has used. The picture, the instant, the Polaroid.
A sense of a permanent thing we posses of a moment that has gone, the Polaroid making memory a permanent
reality, a possession.
